Version Management with CVS

by Per Cederqvist et al

Considered the main manual for CVS, Version Management with CVS (170 pages) explains underlying concepts, describes how to use all documented features of CVS and gives examples of command use.

The manual is available in electronic format in a variety of ways. However you get the manual, the title page should contain the version number of the CVS distribution which contains that version of the manual.

Derek Price, CVS developer and technical editor of Essential CVS (Essentials line from O'Reilly Press) , and others offer consulting services and training through Ximbiot.
