[This was reported for CVS 1.9 and wish 4.2 but presumably applies to more recent versions as well.] Date: Fri, 02 May 1997 09:45:47 +0000 From: Brian Hurley Subject: (Fwd) Re: Problem with importing a module To: tkcvs-discuss@cyclic.com Below is the reply I received from Del about the problem importing a module. Just to remind you the error message was 'can't use non-numeric string as operand of "&&"' with tkCVS 6.0, cvs 1.9 and wish4.2. It works fine in 4.1 but is broken in 4.2. CVS 1.8 broke something in the import code as well, to do with the "modules" module no longer existing. I only just spotted this recently, it worked fine with CVS 1.7. I'll fix it in a patch release. In the mean time you'll have to use cvs import from the command line. - ----+---------------------+------------------------+---------------- Del | Babel Com Australia | del@babel.matra.com.au | del@sca.org.au - ----+---------------------+------------------------+---------------- ------- End of forwarded message -------
