ImageMagick

ImageMagick

ImageMagick is an image manipulation program especially suited for basic operations such as converting an image from one format to another or making simple modifications to an image. For example, it can flip images horizontally or vertically, crop an image, draw rectangles and lines, adjust colors and other such operations.

It has command line tools, and also a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface is unconventional (in particular it is much more modal than is usual), but perfectly usable.

Getting ImageMagick

I suppose we need to make an explicit disclaimer that the distributions listed below are not supported by Cyclic. In most cases we are just redistributing or linking to a distribution provided by someone else, and didn't even help write any of it.

Many linux distributions come with ImageMagick.

Otherwise, see the ImageMagick web page below for information on downloading it. According to the page it is available for Unix, Windows, and other operating systems.
