CVS consulting from the ISSD Division of SAIC

CVS consulting from the ISSD Division of SAIC

Mike Sutton provided us the following information. SAIC is a third party consultant so you will need to deal with them directly -Cyclic

The Information and Simulation Sciences Division (ISSD) is well versed in the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM). Furthermore, ISSD has been contracted to develop software processes for others.

We are currently using CVS to manage source code on three small projects. Small meaning two maybe three developers on the project. These projects use CVS to manage our code plus third party code that has local modifications. Also, we use CVS to manage Web pages, FrameMaker documents, Word documents, graphics files, etc. We are also using the Win95/WinNT client of CVS for PC files.

For more information on the capabilities of ISSD, contact Mike Sutton at mike_sutton@dayton.saic.com or +1 937 431 2273. Or contact Larry Janning at larry_janning@dayton.saic.com or +1 937 431 2265.
