Projects Using GNATS
GNATS is being used by both commercial projects and free software projects. A few of them are:
- Cygnus (at least 50 developers on at least six different platforms)
- Cygnus, founded in 1989, provides software development tools and
component technologies for embedded systems using 32- and 64-bit
microcontrollers.
- The FreeBSD Project
- The FreeBSD Project coordinates the
development, maintenance, and distribution of the FreeBSD
operating system, a popular Unix variant. Their web page features
some web interfaces built on top of GNATS itself.
- itojun.org
- Itojun's site, the home of the nvi-m17n multilingual version of
the vi editor, and other software, uses GNATS to track bugs in that
software. The web page features some nice web interfaces built on top
of GNATS itself.
- The Apache Group
- The Apache Group uses GNATS to track problems with the world's
most popular web server. The Apache Group is a highly collaborative
effort spanning the globe. They have built some web interfaces to
GNATS on top of GNATS itself.
- Wine
- Wine lets you run Windows applications on Unix systems.
Being added to this page
We expect future additions to be primarily via reciprocal links. To participate, first write up a web page concerning your use of GNATS. It should contain at least one link to a Cyclic web page, and should have some link from your main home pages (for example from the "about us" page, or whatever makes sense for you). Good things to mention are (1) how many people use GNATS on how many platforms, (2) the approximate total number of problem reports stored in GNATS, and/or the number of problem reports which arrive per day, and (3) anything you have to say about why GNATS is good choice for you. Then tell us the location of your GNATS page.
Although we generally expect to link to pages which follow the above criteria, we reserve the right to decide what to link to.
