CVS consulting from onShore

CVS consulting from onShore

onShore has been using CVS since at least 1997 throughout their entire development process. They can help you set up CVS, write scripts to help you interface CVS to other systems, and that kind of thing. For example, someone at onShore wrote the cvs2cl script. Or for a non-CVS example of their involvement in free software, see their onShore Timesheet page.

onShore, Inc. is a small but vital custom development shop, providing custom development for the financial, graphic arts, and many other industries. They have been active in Chicago since about 1992, and number at least 35 employees. They opened a New York office around 1998.

The kinds of jobs which onShore takes are development/implementation projects (for example, $30-150k for a defined set of tasks) or hourly consulting (an hour here and there, and/or scheduled at onShore's discretion). This is as opposed to, for example, training or providing full-time engineers at your site for months at a time.

For more information concerning onShore's services, prices, &c, visit the onShore web page. OnShore is a third party consultant so you will need to deal with them directly rather than through Cyclic. On the specific subject of CVS consulting, the relevant contact people (last we heard) were Adam Di Carlo in New York, adam@onshore.com, +1 212 254 0063; and Eric Dodson in Chicago, sales@onshore.com, +1 312 850 5200.
