The Fish Logo

The Fish Logo

The CVS fish logo comes from Pascal Molli's "CVS bubbles" web site. But the following story illustrates an amusing coincidence relating to the name "Cyclic":
Date: Thu, 22 Apr 1999 17:16:44 -0700
From: Jonathan Driller
Organization: ISL
To: info@cyclic.com
Subject: like the fish

So we are using visual sourcesafe and want better - a consultant says'
look at cichlid.org' or something and I say 'cichlid?' and he says
'yeah' and I say 'like the fish?' and he says 'what?' and i say 'you
know, like the fish....' and he looks at me funny and says 'no- cychlid
liche a cyrcle' and I say 'oh'. So i go to cycle.org and you are not
there....after another 5 minutes of recursive iterations I find your
website (including time to explain what a cichlid is and why they should
be saved....) and notice you have a fish as a logo......

By any chance is it a cichlid?
