CVS mailing lists and newsgroups

The newsgroup for CVS (and other version control systems) is comp.software.config-mgmt.

The info-cvs mailing list contains CVS discussions and has been running about 5-10 messages per day; to join send mail to info-cvs-request@gnu.org. The list is archived at egroups.com.

If you want to get news of Cyclic and CVS, you can subscribe to the cyclic-announce mailing list. This list carries Cyclic news releases only, not discussion or other messages. To subscribe, send a message whose body (not subject) consists of "subscribe cyclic-announce" to majordomo@cyclic.com; if all goes well you should get an automated acknowledgement.
